The Haier Big Hoot 2018

47 giant owl sculptures uniquely decorated by Kiwi artists have roosted all around Auckland, joined by 60 fantastic owlets, many created by local school students. They’re just waiting for you to find them but you need to be quick – they fly away on 6 May.

Follow the trail, find the owls and share your photos. Unlock great free rewards from the sponsors; the more owls you find, the more things you can unlock.

The Haier Big Hoot is a city-wide public art trail celebrating the creative work of artists, communities, children and young people.

On 29 May, these amazing owls will be auctioned by Professionals Lovegrove Realty in aid of Child Cancer Foundation.

To enter, entrants should colour in the owl and complete all details on the form including parent/guardian, contact number, address and email. Once complete, please either post, drop off or email your entry.

Child Cancer Breakfast & Auction 2017

Professionals Lovegrove Realty hosted our annual Charity Breakfast & Auction Event to raise funds for the Child Cancer Foundation. Our aim was to raise $20,000 and we raised a record amount of over $21,000. 

Child Cancer Ambassador, 6 year old Maddi joined us for the breakfast to share her story with her family and Kate Dalders from the CCF Team. Maddi kindly donated her painting for us to auction off amongst an impressive list of other items donated by various companies and individuals.

Professionals Real Estate Group has been in partnership with Child Cancer Foundation for over 22 Years contributing in excess of $4.6 million. Lovegrove Realty is passionate about the work that Child Cancer Foundation does for children and families affected by cancer.

We’d like to say a massive thank you to everyone who either attended, donated and especially those who bought items to support this great cause. Bring on 2018!

Professionals Lovegrove Realty hosted our annual Charity Breakfast Event to raise funds for the Child Cancer Foundation. Our team raised a record amount of over $18,500 and we are so pleased with this outstanding result.

Child Cancer Ambassador, 5 year old Rupert joined us for part of the breakfast to share his story along with his mum and Liz Atkinson from the CCF Team. Rupert kindly donated his painting for us to auction off amongst an impressive list of other items donated by various companies and individuals.

This is an exciting year for Professionals as it also marks their 20 year partnership as a proud Gold Star Sponsor with the Child Cancer Foundation since their association in 1994.

We recognise that every week there are three children diagnosed with cancer; every year there are over 100,000 treatments, and for every treatment the child receives a Bead of Courage®. The Foundation relies heavily on sponsorship and the goodness of the public to allow it to provide emotional, practical and financial support within local communities as it receives no direct government funding.  Did you know:

Every week in New Zealand, three families are told their child has cancer. The Child Cancer Foundation supports these families from the very beginning and receives no direct government funding. They aim to reduce isolation and the impact of cancer by offering support services 365 days of the year. Ensuring children and their families are supported, informed and well cared for at every stage of their journey. Professionals Real Estate Group is incredibly passionate about the work the Foundation does for children and their families that are affected by cancer. We support the Child Cancer Foundation’s vision, ‘that every child walking the child cancer journey will never feel alone’.

Professionals have assisted with the funding of the Foundation’s Head Office, Holiday Homes in Taupo and Queenstown, Family Places in Auckland and Wellington, as well as contributing a donation from each property sale to the Child Cancer Foundation. The holiday homes give children and their families coping with cancer an opportunity to take a holiday, relax, and spend time together to recuperate and enjoy themselves in a stress-free environment.
